The ICAP Global eCommerce team offers a complimentary service to the voice brokers operating within our Global Broking division, providing advisory services and conceiving and promoting innovative solutions both internally and externally to clients. ICAP eCommerce looks at how technology can make trading more efficient and improve communication across the Global Broking network.

eCommerce is made up of three core teams based in EMEA, Asia and the Americas. Each team is split into two key areas: Product management and Sales Account Management. There is also a Global UX and Design team based in London reporting into Global eCommerce but providing services to the wider ICAP group too.

eCommerce highlights

  • Investments in eCommerce and Global Broking’s hybrid footprint have driven a 14% increase in matching revenue this year
  • The ICAP Group invested £96 million in new business lines this year
  • In 2015/2016 Global Broking launched Scrapbook, allowing customers to manage their balance sheet positions more efficiently
  • With the support of the eCommerce team Global Broking also launched CrossTrade on TrueQuote, a new portal for buy side customers which is expected to grow significantly in the next 12 months
